Introducing B-Side Fridays.

Every Friday, Marley Carroll will share an previously-unreleased track, accompanied by a photograph from Troy Lehman.  Some will be unfinished sketches, some will be old songs, and some will be fully-realized new tunes. We’ll even throw in the occasional remix or extended  DJ mix from time to time.

Marley joins downtempo luminaries Blockhead and Emancipator for the Southeast leg of their winter tour.  Marley will be performing a solo P.A. set of original music (including songs from Melanaster) that combines his trademark glitch DJ techniques with live vocals and keyboards.

This Saturday, December 4th, the Melanaster Band returns to the Emerald Lounge, joined by folk / pop heroes Uncle Mountain.

Uncle Mountain combines complex, multi-layered harmonies with Americana songwriting to create a sound that is “rich, layered, lively, and most surprisingly, cohesive.” – CityBeat (Cincinnati).  They are also cuter than a baby Fennec fox.  These guys keep getting better over time, and are among the best bands based in Asheville!

Melanaster Records is very proud to announce a new partnership with Portland-based booking and management agency Autonomous Music.

Marley Carroll is the latest artist to be added to their impressive roster, which includes performers like DJ Vadim, Heyoka and Bluetech.
